Mental skills are just that–skills. Thus, they require regular, quality practice to improve–just as physical skills do. Sue has experience teaching mental skills to athletes and coaches across a number of sports, including gymnastics, track and field, distance running, and triathlon. In her research, Sue has interviewed elite athletes from these sports as well as sports such as rugby, rowing, cycling, swimming, hockey, and figure-skating. Sue's work has covered all ends of the athlete spectrum, from recreational enthusiasts to world champions. Sue's expert knowledge of the optimal mental state of flow means she can provide training for attaining flow in your event. After an assessment of the mental skills required in your event or activity, Sue will work with you on developing skills designed to not only enhance your performance, but also to facilitate flow.
